Here’s a quick video showing one of the secrets behind a good vinyl wrap. First, use guys who know what they’re doing. Second, don’t skimp on materials–that cheap vinyl wrap not only is tough to install, it won’t look good for long. Last, a special tape is used with a thin Kevlar thread embedded in it. That gets laid down first, and then the vinyl is installed over it. When everything is smoothed down, the thread is pulled, and it cuts the vinyl just like a knife. Neat stuff.
