Gary took a turn at driving with the initial setup. We were running 25lbs tire pressure and both sway bars connected, which is WAY too stiff for this car, so it reacted accordingly. Still, Gary really showed a lot of car control and a really got it spooled up on the back side of the course.
It should be noted that the Catfish frame now does not have the indent at the driver. The upper bar goes straight across the top, with the structural/safety “V” bracing underneath. This wasn’t done for rigidity–the frame is PLENTY rigid–but because if there’s no door, there’s no need to move the upper bar.
Really cool car!
