We had fun at Brian Goodwin (Goodwin Racing) and Rocky Murphy’s (Miatamotive) tech day. The featured guest was actually a car–the new ND Miata in a beautiful “Ceramic” color. There were plenty of “ooohs” and a few “ahhhs”, and nearly the whole group got under the ND with cameras as it was hoisted on the rack. Mazda has made another tidy car that is bound to leave a positive mark on the Miata lineage, and Brian made sure they had enough cars for R&D by ordering a Red, Blue and Ceramic (white) car for testing! 2016 will be a great year for open top cars.
