It’s the 25th anniversary of the Miata next year, and apparently Mazda plans to do it up BIG at Laguna Seca. Everyone with a Miata is invited, and they’re pushing to make it the largest gathering of Miatas, evah.
There will be two days of driving one of the most iconic tracks in the world, down the infamous “corkscrew” at the dry lake in Monterey. This yearly event usually happens in the spring, but the parent company themselves have requested a push back to September 6-7 in order to get the world record for a Miata gathering, and possibly to show off some special Mazda tidbits…
